Spelling Bee Spotlight – Director & Choreographer

Joining the Home Base Theatre family for this summer’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will be Mary Fox and Andy Frye!

Mary will be joining us as our director. Mary is an actor, director & musician. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2005 with a BFA in musical theatre. She moved to New York City where she worked with Michael Ian Black on the Comedy Central show Stella, as well as performing at the 78th Street Theatre Lab & Manhattan Theatre Source. Now residing in Minneapolis she does frequent work with Yellow Tree Theatre, and most recently starred in Theatre Latte Da’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Joining the Home Base Theatre family as the choreographer for summer’s production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Andy Frye is an actor, director, choreographer, dancer, and musician. Hailing from credits such as, “Paint Your Wagon with Musicals Tonight!” in New York City, Andy has rounded up a plethora of regional credits including: Last Five Years (Jamie)-Yellow Tree Theatre, Cats (Tugger)-Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre, and Godspell (Choreographer)-Minnesota Repertory Theatre.

We are thrilled to have Mary and Andy with us for this production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
